EKONID and its operating divisions (“We”, “Our”, or “Us”) take the protection of any personal data (“Personal Data”) very seriously, and we understand that it is important that we protect the personal data of our visitors and registers at Training Indonesia (https://training-indonesia.org) (“Site”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, intend to use, and share your personal data (“Processing”) through your use of this Site including any data you may provide through this Site when you sign up, use any service provided on the Site, and use our enquiry form or decide to contact us by e-mail. Personal data refers to data or information that identifies or can be used to identify users. We only process personal data of our users on the relevant legal basis set out by applicable laws and regulations including the Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law. This policy also describes how you can correct or change such information and exercise other rights set out by applicable laws and regulations.
We applied technical and organizational measures to ensure that we, as well as external service providers, follow the data protection regulations.
To further develop this Site and implement new technologies to improve our services, changes to this privacy policy may apply, if necessary. Therefore, we recommend you to regularly check it.
- Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
The legal basis for processing of the User, Participants, or Training Providers personal data are based on Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (“PDP”) as follows:
- The user has given explicit valid consent for 1 (one) or several specific purposes (Art. 20 (2) lit. a PDP);
- Processing is necessary to fulfil agreement obligations between EKONID and the User (Art. 20 (2) lit. b PDP);
- Processing is necessary to fulfil legal obligations by EKONID (Art. 20 (2) lit. c PDP);
- Processing is necessary to fulfil the protection of vital interests of the User (Art. 20 (2) lit. d PDP);
- Processing takes place in carrying out duties in the context of public interest, public services, or exercising the authority of EKONID (Art. 20 (2) lit. e PDP); and/or
- Processing serves the fulfilment of other legitimate interests by considering the purposes, needs, and balance of interests of the Personal Data Controller and the rights of the Personal Data Subject (Art. 20 (2) lit. f PDP)
By using and signing up to our Services offered on the Site, you declare that the provided Personal Data is true and valid and expressly consent to EKONID to obtain, collect, process, analyze, display, transmit, open, store, modify, delete, manage and/or use the data for the purpose stated in the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to request further documentation to verify any information provided by you.
- Security, Storage, and Deletion of Personal Data
EKONID is committed to protecting your Personal Data from unauthorized and illegal access by employing several reasonable security measures and procedures. However, there can inevitably be no guarantee of absolute security.
Your personal data will be deleted in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
- When is Personal Data Proceed?
We may collect personal data from you in the – including but not limited to – following instances:
- When you sign up for an account
- When you put up a Directory Listing
- When you contact us through e-mail or our contact form
- When you enter into any agreements or provide other documentation or information in respect of your interactions with us
- When you submit your Personal Data to us for any other reasons.

Each time our Site is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the system of the accessing computer. Every visit to the Internet Services of EKONID is recorded in a server log file. In this server log file, the following-including but not limited to – information will be recorded:
- Browse type and its version
- User’s operating system
- User’s internet service provider
- User’s IP Address
- Date and time of access
- Purpose of Processing
The temporary processing of the IP address is necessary in order to deliver the Site to the user’s computer. For this purpose, the user’s IP address needs to be saved for the duration of the usage.
The logfiles are saved to ensure the functionality of our Site. This data enables us to optimize our Site and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. In this context, we will not process personal data for any other purposes.
- Retention Period
We will delete your data when the processing of the data is no longer required to fulfill the purposes, we collected it for. When we process the data for the provision of our Site, your data will be deleted when the Site session ends.
When we process data in logfiles, we will generally delete the data shortly after the processing. Extended storage is possible. In this case, the user’s IP address will be deleted or pseudonymized in order to prevent the identification of the user.
- Use of Cookies and Data Processing
Computer cookies are small files used by web servers to save browsing information, allowing the Site to remember your device, browser preferences, and associated online activity.
- Scope of Processing
We use cookies which are stored only for the duration of your visit to the Site and will not be stored on your device permanently. Additionally, we use cookies that may track – including but not limited to – the following information:

- URL of the page being viewed;
- URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page;

We use cookies, which consist of essential and analytical cookies, for the purpose of improving the quality of our Site and its contents. The Essential cookies are essential for the use of our Site. Without them, access to our Site is not possible. These cookies cannot be disabled. In the other hand, the Analytical cookies facilitates us to gain knowledge of how the Site is used; we are then able to constantly optimize our services.
We use the following cookies:
- _ga = unique identifier by Google Analytics to identify a user (composed of Client_ID + timestamp)
- _pk_id = Used to recognize visitors and hold their various properties
- _pk_ref = Used to store the attribution information, the referrer initially used to visit the Site
- _pk_ses = Shows an active session of the visitor
If you do not want any tracking, you can disable it under Site analysis with Google Analytics in this data privacy statement.
- Retention Period
Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and are transmitted from there to our Site. Tracking cookies expire after 6-13 months, Analytics cookies generally expire after 2 years. You may choose to manually delete all cookies from your device before this expiration period. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transmission of cookies. Already saved cookies can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically.

- Trainers Network, Training Events, and Data Processing
- Scope of Processing
We will process your Personal Data according to the reason you have provided the data for. We will generally not transfer any personal data to third parties. Apart from that, the provisions of “Transfer of personal data to third parties” of this Privacy Policy apply.
The processing of Personal Data is necessary for you to either apply to join our Trainers Network or to register as a Participant for one of our trainings respectively and for the communication with us thereon. Without your data, we are unable to process your application as a trainer or your registration for participation in a training. We will collect the following compulsory data from you when you have sent your data through our “Sign up” form:
- Name of Contact Person
- Phone Number
- Password
- Position
- Purpose of Processing
The processing of personal data from the Contact Form or your e-mail is necessary to respond to your enquiry. Other personal data processed during the sending process only serves to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
- Retention
Your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention rules and/or legal obligations. You can make a request to delete or amend your personal data with us at any time. Please refer to the provisions on "How to Enforce Your Rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure and Restriction?" for further information.
- Contact Form, Contact by E-mail, and Data Processing

On our Site, you can lodge an enquiry through our Contact Form or contact us by e-mail.
We will only use your personal data to communicate with you about your enquiry. The Personal Data collected in the Contact Form includes but is not limited to:

In the unlikely event that ownership of EKONID changes through an event such as acquisition or merger, we will provide notice to you before any Personal Information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- How To Enforce your Rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure and Restriction
You may have the following rights regarding your Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations: obtaining information; completing, updating and/or correcting errors and/or inaccuracies; accessing and obtaining a copy; ending processing, deleting and/or destroying; withdrawing consent; objecting a decision-making action based solely on automated processing; delaying or limiting the processing.

- How to Raise a Complaint
If you have concerns about Training-Indonesia handling or treatment of your Personal Data or if you believe that your privacy has been violated and wish to file a complaint, you may contact Training-Indonesia under admin@training-indonesia.org.
EKONID is committed to investigating and resolving any complaint within a reasonable period after receiving the complaint.
